This is the correct one:
https://depot.info.apple.com/batteryexchange/index.html
That appears to be separate from the one at
https://support.apple.com/ibook_powerbook/batteryexchange/index.html
The first one look like an earlier recall although it affects some of the same model batteries.

I give it one more year, and Adobe's products will be entirely replaceable by App store Apps that will be SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper. Developers will be making their money, the apps will be cheap enough that piracy won't be as big of an issue, and everyone will be happy (except Adobe....and those heavily invested into their software model, and business).
God, I hope so. I have been looking for a Dreamweaver replacement, not found anything yet. I have been using Pages to make epub books, like it for that more than I do InDesign. All of Adobe software is bloated, the new versions barely bring anything I need to the table, case in point, I upgraded to InDesign CS5 for the epub features and am instead using Pages, having to copy and paste the content over, but it works so much better and the price is so much better. I can't see upgrading any Adobe products again.
;) I agree that it's crazy to pay full price. Everyone has to know someone in college or who can at least get an educational discount. I mean of several hundred bucks, make a friend.
FYI, Adobe still considers you a pirate if you buy an educational version and you personally are not a student or faculty. So if you are going to be a pirate why bother buying a student version at all?

In actuality, the speed increase is only 10 percent instead of 25-39 percent.
It depends on what metric you measure the increase.

Not particularly thrilled about these, I thought I would be pissed when the C2D MacBooks came out, but the only thing worth it to me is the hardrive otherwise I'll stick with my Core Duo MacBook :).
(Of course, day by day those C2D MacBook Pros are looking more and more enticing...)

I would suggest that Apple implement some quality control for their MacBook line, but we all know what happens when they do. ;)
Because better quality control would have caught a hardware design error that doesn't happen to every MacBook and took 3 months (and several hundred thousand sold) to become prevalent?
The MacBook Pro and MacBook are Apple's first two attempts at notebooks using an entirely new architecture inside (Intel). Add to that the entirely new everything else that the MacBook got, and frankly I'm impressed that the RSS and case discoloration have been the only two issues.

Because those morons have to clear caches worldwide so that all the Akamai pages/sites are updated in sync.
Then maybe they should consider using an automated software solution for that instead - the morons seem to be slow ;)
Seriously, the international store shows a simple link to the iPad product page. That is _not_ a complex update.

Apple should bundle the ClickToFlash plug-in into Mobile Safari. It prevents flash from running unless you really want it to run. This should address, in part, Apple's stated reason for not allowing flash (battery drain and stability) as the user would only enable it for those parts of the web that they really want to see.
And, while they are at it, they should enable file uploads in Mobile Safari to upload photos and videos.
I hate only being able to use part of the internet on my iPhone when there is no technical reason I shouldn't be able to do both Flash on demand and file uploads.

I could have saved a little more money on my iMac. I did NEED it a month ago though. Merom is nice but Core Duo (Yonah) isn't devastated by it.

hi all, I have been awaiting this update and have now just ordered my new macbook. I am really glad they upgraded the RAM to 1GB on the middle model as I would have been paying for that upgrade anyway. I ordered it through my universities higher education store, so it cost me a total of 775.48 for the stock white 2ghz model, plus an "incase neoprene sleeve". I hope these sleeves provide adequate protection, if not I will have to get something else, I plan to take the laptop to uni with me every day so I am sure it will suffer a few bumps (not if i can help it obviously but accidents happen!). I am glad i didnt order one a couple of weeks ago like i almost did - thought i'd hold off for an update!

It's still there. It's just not shown in the picture.
The iPhone first gen hasn't got a very good camera so I could not get it all on the pic.
I said where did you "buy" not "put"

Yeah, I was with him up until this line:
I think that music faded in importance for a while, and the iPod has helped to bring music back into people's lives in a really meaningful way. Music is so deep within all of us, but it's easy to go for a day or a week or a month or a year without really listening to music. And the iPod has changed that for tens of millions of people, and that makes me really happy, because I think music is good for the soul.
Umm, yeah, the iPod brought music back into the limelight. Thanks Steve Jobs, in the 90s I was worried music would go away forever, even though it's existed since the dawn of man.

Almost all products that are manufactured by Foxconn are produced by hand. When labor is essentially free it's going to be cheaper than using a machine.
Do you know what the labor cost on an iPhone is? About 85 cents.
And do you know how long it takes to assemble one?

Good for Apple...bad for consumers.
People with a Zune or any other player for that matter won't be able to download Beetles songs legally.
Yeah they will. iTunes works on any Windows or Mac system. They can listen to it on their computer, burn a CD, or even rip that CD back into a format that any player can play, with a minimal quality loss. Besides, anything that discourages consumers from buying a Zune is probably good for consumers :) .

^^ Wow, very nice. I sprung for the Dell U2711 tho' instead of the Apple 27. Very pleased thus far although the Apple 27 kills it in the styling dept.

2 180watt strobes softbox covers, one in front of the model slightly above and 45 degree angled down and another on her right, but that wasn't firing and was only just for fill. My stupid cheap wireless trigger (the part that plugs into the strobe) busted so it wouldn't send a signal to the other strobe so I was going with just one flash.
I found the best and easiest strobe placements to memorize to start with are in front like this, and the classic rembrandt position. One light 45 degree off the model and then the light angled 45 degree down pointing at them. Google would probably have a diagram for the method.
It's hard to believe that girl had 4 kids. I can't wait to shoot with her again!
Thanks Jason. I have 2 150watt strobes, softbox covers and umbrellas as desired. Do your strobes have light sync? One trick I've discovered is to mount a flash on my camera hotshoe (facing up or away) and it's flash will trigger the strobes. I have a sync cable to one flash and use light sync for the other anyway.
Thanks for the placement advice.
4 kids?? !! R u kidding? wow

They appear to be bundling in the AppleCare. Cant buy without it.
That just seems wrong. Something looks fishy here. Do you know if it was just that location?

Our country's cycle of support>arm>aid>turn against>support new group needs to stop, as it is directly responsible for much of the instability we've seen in the world over the last 20+ years.
American foreign policy has indeed come up quite short in the foresight department. However, Khadahphee (or however it gets spelt) rose to power with no real assistance from other countries and has only been supported indirectly, through people buying oil. The only support Libya gets from the US is indirect, from irresponsible excess in oil consumption that keeps the prices up for everyone.

bodes well for Linux and OS X...
I wonder what MS is doing in Vista to prevent piracy? At that price I'm sure a lot of people will be tempted to pirate it.
